Hello, I’m Katie Cowley, executive and personal coach.

I bring a calm, creative and compassionate approach to my work. I love hearing your story and supporting you to create the next chapter with meaning and purpose. I am equally comfortable working with personal or professional goals (and quite often there’s a mix of both).

I am guided by you and your needs and will work with you to understand how you learn and develop. You will gain increasing self-awareness and discover the choices you have and how to fully embrace them, aligning them with your values and aspirations.

I bring a wealth of experience to my work as a coach and supervisor. I am trained as a doctor and have been working in this field for over 25 years. This has given me an amazing environment to come alongside many different people, to listen and understand and support. I also bring professionalism and integrity to my work. I have worked in coaching, facilitation and supervision since 2016. The joy of this work is having time to create a safe, confidential learning space for individuals and groups to explore what is really important to them and support transformational change in their personal or professional lives.

I am a creative person. If it supports your thinking and with your permission, we can use creative techniques to stretch your thinking, uncover new perspectives and understand the systems and dynamics at play with the challenges life presents. This can also bring fun and inspiration to our sessions.

I am an accredited coach working at Senior Practitioner level with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.

I have received training in interpersonal psychotherapy, Time to Think© Supervision, Compassionate Communication, and Action Learning Set facilitation.

My coaching and supervision interests are systemic work, embodied work, mindfulness and creative techniques.

I am completing a diploma in supervision with the Centre for Supervision Training and Development Bath.

“Doing the work to recognise and clearly hold our purpose is an important piece of personal work.”

Intentional Being

Why “Intentional Being”?

Being intentional in your life involves making conscious decisions to live in alignment with your values, beliefs and who you are. This can bring clarity, purpose and greater self-awareness each day. You can enjoy the little moments and the big achievements with whole-hearted presence and appreciation. Intentionally being your true self and allowing this to be congruent with what you do will bring authenticity and inner calm. This is a great place from which to share your gifts and talents with the world and find your purpose.

“Wherever you are, be all there.”

JIM ELLIOT, 2004
